About Me

I am an assistant professor of mathematics at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU).

My research is broadly in the area of representation theory, particularly of quantum groups and diagrammatic algebras. I am also interested in connections of representation theory to other areas, such as subfactors, tensor categories, knot theory, and statistical mechanics. 

Previously I held postdoctoral positions at IMPAN, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, and Ben Gurion University of the Negev. I obtained my PhD in Mathematics from Cardiff University under the supervision of David E. Evans.
